Elevate & Magnify Projects for 2013
January 15, 2013

Recently on Vision Night 2013, Pastor Chappell unveiled three important and compelling projects as the focus of our campus expansion program for this year. Those projects are:

1. Pay for the West Wing
Though this beautiful first phase of our auditorium expansion is physically complete, it is not yet financially complete. Thanks to the Lord's work through His people, this project is well on its way to being paid for, but we need a strong finish—with additional generous giving this year—in order to label this project fully funded. It has been thrilling since the grand opening in September to see this building used for greeting first-time guests, caring for precious infants, providing classrooms for Students Ministries (7th-12th grades), and meeting the needs of all those who attend worship services.

2. Construct the Bus Garage and Warehouse
We have been anticipating this vital project for quite some time. In fact, it's overdue! Our first-class mechanic lead, along with his dedicated crew of volunteers, need a functional, safe, and indoor environment to maintain our fleet of over 25 buses and other vehicles. In addition to the mechanic space, this large metal building will also house the distribution center of our publications ministry, Striving Together. This growing department annually supplies tens of thousands of Christians and church leaders with excellent, biblical resources, and is desperately in need of a functional hub for storage and shipping.

3. Prepare for the East Wing and Balcony Expansion
While we focus on the first two priorities with this year's emphasis and expansion offerings, we will continue preparing administratively and architecturally for the next phases of the auditorium expansion. These two phases—the East Wing and the Balcony Expansion—will begin as the Lord leads and as He provides financially. A ground-breaking date has not yet been set, but we believe God is able as we "launch out" by faith and follow Him.

The dedication service for the West Wing Tower was held Sunday morning at 10:30. It was a joyous celebration as our church family gathered to give God the glory for what He has done in providing for this much-needed facility. Pastor Chappell recognized the deacons, the pastoral staff, the architect, the general contractor, and the contractors and workmen who labored to erect the building in such a short time. The nurseries, classrooms, and lobby are already being filled, and we look forward to using this building to serve our community and church family for years to come!

West Wing Grand Opening
September 7, 2012

We thank God for all of the progress that has been made on our campus through the West Wing construction. Ground breaking for construction was just ten months ago, and within days we will begin occupying this vitally needed space. This new facility will provide additional lobby, classroom and nursery space. We look forward to the productive use of these new facilities, and we thank you for your patience during this construction.

Important Dates:
September 9—first floor of the West Wing will be open for use
September 23—senior high Sunday school classes will be moving to the second floor
September 30—grand opening of the West Wing and Promenade
